Check on Mine

Privacy policy

Updated October 4, 2026

Check on Mine is made by Frazier Industries Mach 2 LLC ("we"). This policy covers the Check on Mine apps for iPhone and Android and checkonmine.com. The short version: we collect only what's needed to notice when your day goes quiet and to tell the people you chose. We don't sell data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

What we collect

Who sees it

Only the people you connect with. People checking on you see your name, when you were last active, whether an alert is open, and your SOS location. They don't see step counts. We look at account data only to help when you ask, or to keep the service running and secure.

Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service (iPhone) and Firebase Cloud Messaging by Google (Android); the notification's text passes through them. We share data with nobody else unless the law requires it.

Where it's kept, and for how long

Data is stored on servers we operate in the United States, encrypted in transit. Activity history is kept for 30 days. Alert history is kept for 12 months. When you delete your account, everything is deleted at once; backups containing it expire within 14 days.

Your choices

You can change or pause monitoring, remove anyone from your circle, and delete your account from Settings in the app or by following these steps. You can ask us for a copy of your data at support@checkonmine.com.

Children

Check on Mine is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Text messages

The apps don't send text messages. If we ever offer text alerts, they'll go only to people who have opted in, and mobile numbers and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
